The WeatherMaster Screened 6 sleeps 6 people comfortably in two rooms; it has a footprint of 17'x9' and a center height of 6'4". An additional floorless screened room provides extra ventilation on warm days, a great place for meals and gathering, rain or shine, and protected storage space. Coleman's Comfort System allows control of airflow with Variflo adjustable ventilation, including the vented Cool-Air Port, privacy vent window, and electrical access port. Continuous, color-coded pole sleeves, an exclusive pin-and-ring design, and InstaClip attachments make setup a breeze with the 19mm steel poles.

I've camped for many years, first as a Girl Scout and then as an adult. My husband had never camped, let alone in a tent. I took him out in this tent to a National Forest campground in the Shenendoah mountains, and it rained steady for a week. This tent saved the vacation. The middle room served as our dining and rec center, providing ample space for our small camp table where we ate and played cards. The screened porch was a perfect vestibule, and on sunny days it's a great place to relax, nap, read and escape from the bugs. The sleeping room is perfect for two adults and a queen-sized air bed. The middle room will comfortably sleep an entire family, or serve as the "living room", gear room, work room, etc. It has a high ceiling with a loop for hanging a light. The over-cover and Coleman construction make this the driest tent I've ever experienced. After a week of steady rain, not one seep, weep or drip.
Extremely pleased

I've only had this tent about a month, and we used it for our labor day weekend camping trip. we didn't practice putting it up before hand, which i was regretting as we didn't get to our site until dusk and was nervouse about setting up a brand new tent that was much more tent than either of us had used before. to our suprise, it went up very quickly and easily. the instructions were very easy to follow and all the parts were easily identifiable and intuitive.
once it was up, we fell in love just during the settling in phase; i thought the hinged door would be a cool addition, but after 3 days, i don't think i would ever go without it again. it was so easy to quickly slip in and out of the tent without zipping (except for at night, of course). we had recently invested in sleeping cots too and everything fit perfectly (note 2 people with 2 cots and lots of "stuff" was VERY comfortable; to be a 6 person tent is more than i'd want to live with, as it would seem to be only sleeping area). also, we were both thrilled with the hight of the tent and no longer needed to duck around.
the screened in area was nice to have, we stored some things in there to keep out of the way, and it would be great for rainy/buggy times (fortunately we lucked out and didn't have either).
All in all, i am extremely pleased with my purchase of this tent. definately worth the wait as it was unavailable when we first started researching it. |

Love it! It is roomy, fitting a large queen blow-up bed, a playpin our bags and still room to walk around. The swing door is super convenient. The netted room is perfect for storing your camping gear. A perfect match for family camping.

Great tent. Ample room. Lots of windows/screens to let the airflow thru. Easy to put up. Loved the screend section on the side. Loved the "door" feature - totally beats zipping and unzipping all day and night long. You won't be disappointed with this purchase...I surely wasn't. Recommend to all. It would sleep very comfortably up to 4 people - 6 people is definitely pushing it unless they are kids. My husband and I bought this and we used one section for storage of all our clothes, etc. while we slept in the other section - in the screend section we were able to put all the reamining items to be protected in the event of rain. Great product!

We decided to try tent camping this year over Memorial weekend and bought the Weathermaster 6 for our family of 4 (plus our full grown lab) and absolutely love the tent! It was recommended by some to perform a practice setup before using, which I would also recommend--having done so, I was able to set it up in 25 minutes when we arrived at the campground, the red color on the poles and pole seams were very intuitive for assembly. Very simple setup. The rigid swing door is pure design genius! Many other campers around us commented on the door, and for our busy young daughters having a door that closes right behind them is just perfect for the mosquito-filled woods of Minnesota. We had slight rain one night, and no water got in, this is a well-sewn unit. I bought a 10 foot strip of self-adhesive velcro for the bottom of the flap between the screen porch and the main sleeping area, but did not use it as there was no issues with wind permeating that area since the waterproof floor rises up higher than the flap hangs. We also bought 4 coleman cots and there was ample room for legs between the cots which were set up side by side, and about 18-24 inches of walkway between the door side of the tent and the foot of the cots. We recommend this tent to anyone!
